The mission of our Drone-as-First-Responder (DFR) Program is to provide air support to our first responders in a responsible manner. Our goals are to increase safety, reduce response times, and increase our effectiveness and efficiency. Drones have become a critical tool to provide a birds-eye view for ground units, to help determine appropriate action before arrival and during calls for service.

DFR is used to respond to calls for service, exponentially enhancing our ability to protect the public safety. All drone flights launched by our Department are tracked and logged, and may be viewed by the public.
